Specification for engine supplies
Specification of urea solution
Use of good quality urea solution is essential for the
operation of a SCR catalyst. Using urea solution not
complying with the specification below e.g. agricul-
tural urea, can either cause direct operational prob-
lems or long-term problems like deactivation of the
catalyst.
The overall SCR system is designed for one of
the two possible urea solution qualities (32.5 %
AdBlue® or 40 % concentration) as listed in the
tables below. This must be taken into account
when ordering. The mixture of the both different
solutions is not permissible!
