Installation of AR-Pre
• If the AR-Pre is being retrofitted to an
existing system, relieve filter pressure and
disengage incoming water line. If optional
stainless threaded fitting is being used,
remove as well.
• Draw a minimum 8” level line to the left of
the primary filter system bracket from the
center of the first mounting screw.
• For installation to an AR-10000/AR-20000
system, mark the first hole for the AR-Pre
on the level line 4.5 “ from the center of
the first mounting screw. Mark second
hole 1.5” from the first hole mark.
• For installation to an AR-40000 system.
Mark the first hole for the AR-Pre on the
level line 5.5” from the center of the lower
left mounting screw. Mark second hole
1.5” from the first hole mark.
Installation of AR-Pre
• Drill the mounting holes and
insert mounting screws
• Insert precut copper tubing, part
#7601763 to the outlet port of
the AR-Pre head.
• Insert opposite end of the
tubing into the inlet port of the
primary filter assembly.
• Align the AR-Pre mounting
keyhole slots with the
predrilled holes.
• Install and tighten
mounting screws.
