Cartridge change out
• The filter has trapped sediment
from the water and the water
flow has stopped or is reduced
below 20 psi.
• The maximum life of the carbon
filter has been reached and the
filter will no longer reduce
chlorine to acceptable levels.
• The Siliphos has been
completely dissolved into the
water and hard scale formation
may be accelerated. This is
due to the ability of calcium and
magnesium ions adhere to the
sediment particles.
Water filter cartridges need to be changed
for one or more of the following reasons:
Recommended filter
change out
Every 6 months
or
When the water flow
through the cartridge is
below 20 psi (137.9 kPa).
• It is recommended that all filter cartridges
in the system are changed out:
• Write the date when the filter will need to
be changed next onto the filter body.
