Before Calling For Service Checklist
If a problem arises during operation of your ice storage bin, follow the checklist below before calling service. Routine
adjustments and maintenance procedures are not covered by the warranty.
Problem Possible Cause To Correct
Water in bottom of bin Drain incorrectly installed Drain must be open site with an air gap and
correct pitch
Ice machine and bin do not have separate
drains
Correct drain installation
Water-cooled condenser and bin do not have
separate drains
Correct drain installation
Drain obstructed Clear drain
Ice in bin does not drop Baffle is incorrectly positioned Refer to Section 3, Operation
Ice forming ice bridge Refer to Section 3, Operation
Ice falls on floor when bin door is
opened
Baffle is incorrectly positioned Refer to Section 3, Operation
Ice in bin is congealed and will not
break up
Bin is not emptied on a regular basis Refer to Section 3, Operation - If the issue is
not resolved, install a thermostat to lower level
of ice in bin to meet current usage
