BUTTON
Press
to
store
a
programmed
or
preset
content
in
memory.

BUTTON
Press
this
button
to
play:
the
first
10
seconds
(introduction)
of
every
program
recorded
on
a
tape.
This
function
is
convenient
for
searching
music
that
you
want
to
listen
to.
FTS
(FAVORITE
TRACK
SEARCH)
BUTTON
Press
this
button
to
activate
the
FTS
function.
With
this
function,
your
favorite
tunes
on
each
disc
can
be
programmed
and
stored
in
the
memory
file
until
change.

REPEAT
BUTTON
When
this
switch
is
pressed,
the
repeat
function
is
engaged
and
the
entire
program
will
be
played
repeatedly.
Pressing
again
releases
the
repeated
play.
SELECTOR
BUTTONS
When
one
of
these
buttons
is
pressed,
the
corresponding
one
of
the
signal
sources,
CD,
TUNER,
AUX
1,
AUX
2,
PHONO,
TAPE
1
or
DAT/TAPE
2,
is
selected,
and
the
power
of
the
unit
is
also
switched
ON.
VOLUME
UP/DOWN
BUTTONS
Press
the
UP
button
to
increase
the
volume.
Press
the
DOWN
button
to
decrease
the
volume.

Operate
these
buttons
to
recall
a
reas
station
No.
on
the
tuner.
REC
MUTE
BUTTON
When
this
button
is
pressed
during
tape
recording,
the
tape
deck
enters
the
record-pause
mode
after
leaving
a
no-recorded
blank
of
4
seconds
on
tape.
If
this
button
is
held
depress
for
more
than
4
seconds,
the
non-.
recorded
blank
is
recorded
for
the
same
period,
and
the
deck
enters
the
~
record-
-pause
mode
upon
release
of
the
button.
MODE
BUTTON
Press
to
select
the
monaural
or
stereo
listening
mode
of
the
tuner.

When
using
a
cassette
deck
or
the
Compact
Disc
player,
use
these
buttons
to
search

track

Open
the
battery
compartment
by
pulling
the tab
of
the
cover
towards
you
and
at
the
same
time
lifting
the
cover
(Fig.
3A).
2.
Place
two
batteries
(type
“RO3”
or
“AAA”
batteries)
in
the
Correct
manner
in
the
compartment
(Fig.
3B).
NOTE:
The
average
service
life
of
a
set
of
batteries
is
approximately
one
year.
Remove
the
batteries
when
they
have
run
down
or
when
the
remote
control
is
not
going
to
be
used
for
a
long-period
of
time
in
order
to
prevent
possible
damage
from
battery
leakage.
3.
Close
the
cover
by
placing
it
again
in
the
correct
way
on
the
underside
of
the
remote
control
(Fig.
3C).
Press
the
cover
down
firmly.
