  First, ensure the power cord is properly connected to both the player and the power outlet. If it is, the safety protection device may have been activated. Unplug the power cord, wait 5-10 seconds, and then plug it back in. Also, the UD8004 enters the standby status by safety function when the fan stops, so check the back of the set if something is disturbing the fan rotation.

  Several factors could be at play. First, ensure the HDMI cable is securely connected. Confirm that the 'HDMI' indicator on the UD8004 display is lit. Also, check that the connected display device supports HDCP. Verify that the HDMI video resolution setting supports the resolution of your connected device; if set to 'Auto', the UD8004 will adjust automatically. Make sure that HDMI mode is not set to 'HDMI Off'. Finally, if the Pure Direct function is set to 'On', set it to 'Off'. Also, check 'Pure Direct Setup' – 'Video Out' on the GUI menu and set it to 'On' at the 'User Preset 1' or 'User Preset 2' setting.
