• Debris from circulating water is trapped in the sandbox of the lter tank. Manually
adding occulants will greatly increase ltration capacity and reduce the need for
water treatment products.
RETURN RETURN
Switch o the pump motor.
Set the 6-way valve to the position >> 4 << „Back Flushing“.
Turn on the pump motor, after 5 minutes of ushing, the lter is clean.
Visually inspect the drain pipe outlet.
Switch o the pump motor.
Set the 6-way valve to >> 2 << „Flushing“ position.
Turn on the pump motor.
For the next 30 seconds, rinse the clean water chamber into the drain pipe.
Switch o the pump motor.
Set the 6-way valve to >> 1 << „Filtration“.
Turn on the pump motor.
The lter system is ready for further operation. Note the pressure value on the
pressure gauge.
Manual manometer positions
green eld – 0–12 = 0.5 bar
yellow eld – 12–16 = 1 bar
red eld – 16–30 = 1.5 bar
When properly connected, the hand is approximately halfway across the green
eld.
WARNING: In general, before switching on the 6-way valve, the pump motor must
be shut o by pulling out the fork from the socket.
Before each valve operation turn o the ltration pump and wait about ½ minutes
until the sand is settled.
Make sure that the wastewater outlet is free before starting the backwash pro-
cess.
CAUTION: The rinsing process must not be interrupted. Before starting the back
ushing process, make sure that sucient water is available. For manual operation,
the lter system is equipped with a6-way valve designed for the required ow rate.
6-way valve operating instructions
CAUTION: Only change the valve position when the lter device is switched o!
Push the lever down and rotate it to the desired setting. The following settings are
possible:
1. FILTERS Flow of water from the pool downstream through the lter tank and
back to the pool.
2. PURPOSE The ow of water from the pool downstream of the ltration tank into
either the waste pipe or the pump pit.
3. CIRCULATION Flow of water from the pool and back without ltration.
