4. RETURN RELAY Flow of water from the pool against the direction of ow throu-
gh the lter tank either to the waste pipe or to the pumping pit.
5. CLOSED Closing all outlets, water does not circulate.
6. WASTE Water ow without ltration into the waste pipe or pump pit.
7. RECORDING No function, the position is used when shutting down the lter and
for safe wintering.
WARNING: The valve lever must not be used to carry the lter container, it may
break.
Maintenance
The gradual build–up of impurities in the sand ller tank increases its resistance. If
the pressure value (watch the pressure gauge) in the lter tank increases by appro-
ximately 0.2–0.3 bar above the original value, arinse is required. Check the pressure
value at the beginning of each lter cycle.
NOTE: In order to maintain hygienic conditions and optimize eciency, back
ushing must be carried out irrespective of the operating time or the increase in
the pressure (pressure) due to contamination at least every 8 days. If there is an
increased load, reverse ushing must be performed more frequently.
Replacement of sand ller
The absorption capacity of sand ller to capture impurities lies in the roughness of
the individual grains of sand, which are gradually changing during ltering. To main-
tain the maximum ltering eect, we recommend replacing the sand ller before
each event or every second season.
Pump pre–lter cleaning
– Switch o the pump motor (disconnect the plug from the socket).
– Close the shut–o valves. *
– Unscrew the threaded ring and remove the transparent pre–lter cover. Remove
the screen coarse prelter, clean and reinsert. Replace the transparent cover and
screw it in and tighten the threaded ring.
– Open the shut–o valves.
– Connect and turn on the pump motor.
WARNING: The pump motor must not be operated without acoarse prelter sieve,
otherwise it may become clogged and blocked.
* If the shut–o valves are not used, water will ow from the open suction pump.
Faults and their removal
• The pressure gauge shows apressure greater than 1 bar
◊ Clogged sand ller. —> Re-ush.
• Drainage of wastewater
◊ It is asign of damage to the valve sealing surfaces. —> Have the valve repaired.
