  If your sterilizer operates but fails to reach 15.5 PSI pressure, consider the following: 1. The current may not be heating all elements. Remove the lower front panel to check if the heating elements are working. 2. The steam trap may not be closing. Replace the thermometer within the steam trap. 3. The exhaust valve may not be holding pressure. Check and readjust the temperature control if it's incorrectly adjusted. 4. Steam could be leaking around the door. Inspect the gasket for wear or adjust the door. 5. The safety valve might be blowing off prematurely. Replace the safety valve.
