Safety Instructions

Cleaning

Please do not use corrosive liquids or large amounts of water to clean the scale. Always disconnect the scale from the mains power supply before cleaning.

Maintenance

The scale does not require any routine maintenance. However, we recommend checking the scale's accuracy at regular intervals.

Before Using the Scale

Levelling the Scale

The mild steel base is fitted with four adjustable levelling feet. Please adjust these accordingly to ensure the base is level.

Operation: Basic Functions

Switching the Scale on/off

Press PRINT/ON/OFF to power-on the scale. When the scale shows 0.000 it is ready for weighing.

Setting the Scale to Zero

If at any time the reading shows anything other than 0.000 when there is nothing on the scale, you can reset the display.

Operation: Advanced Functions

Hold Function

Press HOLD once. The scale will lock onto and stabilise the weight reading for the item. The reading will remain displayed.

Tare Function

Place the item you wish to deduct the weight of (such as a plate or bowl) on the scale and press TARE.

Unit Conversion

Switching Between Kg and lb

To switch the weight reading between kg and lb, press LB/KG. The LED panel will indicate whether the reading is showing in kg or lb.

Counting Function

Using Counting Function

To count items on the scale, place a sample quantity, switch to count mode, and input the sample size.

Accumulation Function

Using Accumulation Function

You can use the scale to total up several loads. Add your first item to the scale and press TOTAL. Remove the item.

Setting the Screensaver

Configuring Screensaver Timeout

To set the time out function, press and hold HOLD until 'F1' is displayed, then configure the time out period.

Troubleshooting Error Codes

Displays common error codes like EEE, overload, zero errors, and EEPROM errors with their respective solutions.
