Device Layout

3.5 MM INPUT

Plug in an analogue audio device with a 3.5 mm stereo jack.

SOURCE SELECTION

Push the source button to toggle between Bluetooth® and AUX audio sources.

AUDIO CONTROLS

Acton III includes three controls for adjusting the audio: Volume, Bass, and Treble control.

MEDIA CONTROL

Control the audio directly from the top panel when playing via Bluetooth.

POWER SWITCH

Use the power switch to turn the speaker on or off.

POWER INPUT

Use the included mains lead to connect Acton III to the wall socket.

Instructions

Getting Started

Connect the mains lead, turn on the speaker, and download/set up the Marshall Bluetooth app.

Bluetooth Pairing

Use the source button to select Bluetooth and long press to enable pairing mode.

Connecting an AUX Device

Connect a 3.5mm jack to the AUX input and audio source, then select AUX.

Network Standby Mode

Speaker enters standby if unused for 10 minutes to save energy.

Performing a Factory Reset

Reset the speaker to original settings by holding the media control for more than 10 seconds.

Marshall Bluetooth App

Download the Marshall Bluetooth app for enhanced features and software updates.

Troubleshooting

Speaker Not Turning On

Troubleshoot by checking the mains connection and wall socket.

Speaker Not Responding

Resolve by unplugging the power for 15 seconds and plugging it back in.

No Audio or Low Audio

Check audio source, device connection, and volume levels for audio issues.

Audio Distortion

Adjust volume, bass, and treble levels on the speaker or audio source.

Bluetooth Connection Issues

Resolve pairing problems by enabling Bluetooth, disconnecting other devices, or entering pairing mode.

Bluetooth Connection Drops Out

Improve connection by moving devices closer and avoiding obstacles.

Bluetooth Interference

Move speaker away from interference or turn off interfering electronic devices.

Erratic Speaker Behaviour
