Take out the air filter foamed plastic sleeve shell.

Separate the foamed plastic from the outer frame.
Clean the foam type filter as follows :
1、 Fill a pan of proper size with incombustible cleaning solution. Immerge
the filter element in the cleaning solution and wash it.
2、 Press the filter element with both palms to squeeze out cleaning
solution. Never twist the filter element to avoid damaging.
3、 Soak the filter element in engine oil tank and squeeze oil out, keeping it
slightly wet.

Precaution
•
During cleaning the filter element, check for any damage to the filter
element and replace when necessary.
•
Never start the engine without the filter element installed, or the
engine wearing may be increased.
Warning
Before and during cleaning, attention should be paid to check the filter
element for any crack. Replace it if any crack is found.
