Why Master Forge BG2294B-LB Grill will not light?
    • D
      David RamosJul 26, 2025
Your Master Forge grill might not light due to several reasons. It could be that the ignition wire came off the igniter/valve; in this case, reconnect it. Another possibility is that the distance between the ignition pin and the burner is incorrect, so adjust it. Also, check if the ignition wire is broken (call customer service for a replacement), if the electrode doesn't produce sparks (reinstall it), if there is no gas supplied (turn on the regulator valve), or if the air shutter opening is too big (adjust it to a smaller size).

What to do if burner flame is yellow and gas odor can be smelled with Master Forge BG2294B-LB?
    • J
      Jennifer HowardJul 30, 2025
If the burner flame is yellow and you smell gas, it could be due to a few reasons. The air shutter opening might not be properly set; try loosening it and adjusting the opening to achieve blue flames, with about a 1/4 inch opening for LPG. Spiders or insects might have blocked the air shutter, so clean any blockages. Also, there could be gas leaks, so check for the source of any leaks.

What to do if Master Forge Grill has excessive flare-up?
    • J
      julielunaAug 4, 2025
Excessive flare-ups on your Master Forge grill can occur for several reasons. If you're grilling fatty meats, move them to the warming rack until the flames subside. Make sure the knobs are not set to “HIGH”; grill fatty meats on “LP LOW” when using LP Gas and when the grids are cold. Never spray water on gas flames. Also, ensure the hood is up when grilling.

    • A
      Alicia BoyleAug 9, 2025
If the burner on your Master Forge grill blows out, the LP tank might be empty, so refill it. Another cause could be that the burner is not aligned with the control valve; in this case, install the burner correctly. Insufficient gas supply could also be the reason, so check the gas supply hose for leaks or knots.

Why is there low heat with Master Forge BG2294B-LB when the knob is in “HIGH” position?
    • J
      Jennifer LopezAug 14, 2025
If you're experiencing low heat even when the knob is in the “HIGH” position, the ports might be blocked. Clear any obstructions from the ports. Also, check if the LP tank has run out and refill it if necessary.
