Why does my Master MH-60V-GFA stop running by itself?
    • G
      grossmichaelAug 7, 2025
If the Master Gas Heater stops running by itself, it could be due to several reasons. First, the temperature inside the heater might be too high, causing the thermal switch to shut down. Ensure that the areas in front and behind the heater are clear of obstructions to prevent overheating. Alternatively, a damaged control valve could be the issue, requiring a replacement of the valve assembly. Lastly, accumulated dust or debris inside the heater can cause it to stop; cleaning the inside of the heater might resolve the problem.

What to do if Master MH-60V-GFA will not fire (ignite)?
    • J
      jeffrey10Aug 18, 2025
If the Master Gas Heater won't ignite, there are a few potential causes. One reason could be the absence of a spark at the module. Inspect the module wire, re-attach or tighten it if loose, and if necessary, replace the spark module. Also, inspect all other electrical components. Another possibility is an incorrect spark gap; set the plug gap to 0.16ā€ (4mm). Finally, a corroded electrode could be the culprit; in this case, replace the spark plug (Multi-Bracket Assembly).

How to fix a Master MH-60V-GFA Gas Heater when the fan does not turn?
    • R
      Rodney GlassAug 28, 2025
If the fan of your Master Gas Heater doesn't turn when electricity is connected, there are several possible reasons. First, ensure that the heater is receiving electric power by checking the current at the outlet. If the voltage is correct, inspect the extension and power cords for any cuts, frays, or breaks. Another cause could be that the fan blades are in contact with the heater housing; inspect the housing for damage and ensure there are no dents obstructing the fan. Bent fan blades can also prevent the fan from turning, so straighten all fan blades. Finally, if none of these issues are present, the fan motor may be defective, requiring replacement of the Motor Assembly.
