How to fix a Master Heater when the burner fails to ignite?
    • M
      Megan SmithAug 11, 2025
If the burner on your Master Heater fails to ignite, it could be due to several reasons: * The valve on the supply cylinder might be closed, so open the cylinder valve. * The cylinder excess flow check valve might be closed; in this case, close the cylinder valve, wait one minute, and then reopen it slowly. * There might be a burner nozzle blockage, requiring you to replace the burner nozzle. * The ignition system might not be sparking; inspect the igniter wires for damage and ensure the spark gap is .195”.

What to do if the burner lights, but the flame goes out when the control knob is turned to desired setting on my Master Heater?
    • D
      Derek CollinsAug 22, 2025
If the burner lights but the flame goes out when the control knob is turned to the desired setting on your Master Heater: 1. Allow enough time for the thermocouple to warm up by keeping the control valve depressed for at least 30 seconds. 2. Check cylinders for adequate gas, as low gas pressure could be the issue. 3. The thermocouple might need replacing or tightening. 4. The control valve could be damaged, requiring replacement.

Why is the burner flame too low on my Master MH-80V-LPC-A Heater?
    • A
      Anna LucasSep 1, 2025
If the burner flame is too low on your Master Heater, ensure the cylinder valve is fully opened. A clogged burner orifice can also cause this, requiring burner replacement. Inadequate gas pressure or a low fuel supply can also be the cause; ensure the regulator is operating properly and replace the fuel cylinder with a full one.
