It integrates several features to enhance patient care and operator convenience, including a reservoir for water, a shower wand, disinfectant wand, BathAire system for air and heat, and a transfer chair.

Function Description:

The Integrity Bath system facilitates the bathing of individuals, particularly those with mobility limitations, by providing a secure and comfortable environment. The process involves transferring the individual into a specialized transfer chair, securing them, and then moving the chair into the tub. The tub is filled with temperature-controlled water, and the BathAire system can be activated for a therapeutic air and heat experience, with optional aromatherapy. After bathing, the tub is drained, and the individual is transferred out. The system also includes features for cleaning and disinfecting the tub and chair.

Important Technical Specifications:

• Water Temperature Control: The system allows for precise control of bath water temperature, with a recommended range of 96°F to 105°F. A mixing valve is preset to prevent mixed water from exceeding 110°F, and a temperature thermometer on the reservoir monitors the fill temperature.
• Reservoir Capacity: The reservoir automatically fills and shuts off when full, ensuring an adequate water supply for bathing.
• BathAire System: This system provides variable speed air and heat for a therapeutic experience. It includes an ON/OFF touch pad, plus (+) and minus (-) sections to adjust airflow, and a "Wave" mode for long or short cycle effects. It also has an internal timer that shuts off the blower after 20 minutes and a purge cycle that runs for 1 minute, 20 minutes after the blower is turned off, to dry aerators.
• Aromatherapy: The system supports aromatherapy through a cartridge holder, allowing for the use of selected scent cartridges.
• Disinfectant Dispensing System: A dedicated wand and valve allow for the application of disinfectant/cleaner to all surfaces of the tub and chair.
• Shampoo/Body Wash Dispensing System: The system includes a dispensing portal for MasterCare's specially formulated shampoo and body wash, with preset economic portions.
• Electronic Scale (Optional): Some transporters may include an electronic scale for weighing individuals. It features ON/ZERO, LB/KG, and RECALL buttons. The battery life indicator is displayed as the last set of numbers after pressing ON/ZERO.

Usage Features:

• Patient Transfer: The transfer chair is designed for easy transfer of individuals, with a requirement for the chair to be in a full upright position during all transfers. Caster brakes must be locked during transfers.
• Tub Filling: The reservoir is filled first, with temperature adjustment via the mixing valve and monitoring on the fill temperature dial. The tub is then filled from the reservoir, with the water temperature checked again before the individual enters.
• Bathing Cycle: The BathAire system can be activated for a warm environment and therapeutic air agitation. Shampoo and body wash can be dispensed directly into the hand or bath water.
• Drying: The BathAire system can be kept on during drying to assist in warming the environment inside the tub.
• Cleaning and Disinfection: After each bath, the tub and chair are rinsed, disinfected using the disinfectant wand, scrubbed with a provided brush, and then rinsed again. A contact time of 10 minutes is recommended for MasterCare Disinfectant/cleaner.
• Storage: When not in use, storage areas should be locked, and the reservoir/tub fill lever should be in the open position.

• Battery Monitoring: The electronic scale provides a battery life indicator, prompting maintenance when the reading falls below 5.2.
• Disinfectant/Shampoo Replacement: The system allows for easy replacement of one-liter jugs of MasterCare's disinfectant/cleaner and shampoo/body wash, with priming instructions provided.
• Purge Cycle: The BathAire system's automatic purge cycle helps to dry the aerators, preventing moisture buildup.
