  If the overload indicator is illuminated on your Matco Tools Welding System, it could be due to the input voltage being too high or too low, or because the welder is overheated. Use a meter to check the input power voltage, ensuring it falls within the range of 220V-240V AC (or 105V-132V when using the 120V adapter cord). If the welder is overheated, leave the power on and allow the fan to cool it down until the overload indicator light turns off.

  If the wire drive motor on your Matco Tools Welding System isn't turning, several factors could be at play. First, check the fuse inside the wire compartment, ensure it is tight and replace if necessary. Also, make sure that the wire feed speed control isn't set to zero; increase it if needed. The wire will only feed when the trigger is mashed. Finally, the wire drive motor itself may be damaged, in which case it would need to be replaced.
