the cable from the receptacle with the plug.
Protect the cable from oil, heat, and sharp edges.
Damaged cables can cause an electric shock.
Check the device and power cable for damage
before starting work.
When plugging in the power plug, make sure that
the operating switch is not located in position.
Only use approved extension cables when using
the device outside.
When using a cable drum, unwind it entirely in
order to prevent the cable from heating up. The
minimum wire gauge is 1.5 mm
2
.
When working outside, the receptacle must be
equipped with a residual current circuit-breaker.
Pull the plug when you are not using the device or
making adjustments.
Always guide the cable away from the back of the
tool.

Danger of being pulled in!
Assembly
- With the motor housing upside down, place the
chassis on the guides and fasten with a spring
washer and an Allen screw.
- Push the axle through the chassis and spacing
tube.
-Putontheleftandrightwheels.
-Securewithaatwasherandsplit-pin.Bendthe
split-pin open.
-Placethewheelcoverontothewheelsupports
andpressuntiltheylockintoplaceonthewheel.
Motor Brake
- For your safety, the drive motor is equipped with
a safety motor brake.
-Afterpressingthesafetyswitch,themotorand
bladeswillcometoastandstillwithin5seconds.
Overload Protection
-Afterlengthyoverloadingofthemotor,theover-
load switch is activated and switches the motor
o. The ov
erload switch display shows 0. After
approximately1minutetheoverloadswitchcan
be pressed again if the motor has cooled down.
Afterpressingtheon/oswitch,theshredder
continues to run.
Working with the MATRIX Shredder
-Alwaysweargloves,earprotection,andsafety
goggles.
- The material to be shredded is automatically
drawnintothefeedhopper.
Warning: Long pieces of material can hit like a
whip. Always keep a safe distanc
eaway.
-Dontfeedintoomuchmaterial.Mixfreshand
oldcutmaterial.Thatwaytheshredderdischar-
ge remains clean.
-Completelyshredleafyandbranchymaterial
beforefeedinginnewmaterial.
- Always keep the ejector opening clean and free.
Service and Maintenance
- Before performing any work on the equipment,
pull the power plug.
-Useadampclothtocleantheplasticelements.
Donotuseanycleansers,solvents,orpointed
objects.
-Alw
ays clean the shredder after each use.
-Neversprayitdownwithrunningwaterora
high-pressure cleaner.
