5.7 When the engine has become warm, the
choke lever should be set to ON (B11)
6. OPERATING THE GENERATOR
Operate the generator according to following
procedure in order to ensure safe and reliable
operation.
6.1 Before the generator starts running, it
should be connected to ground. Connect the
grounding terminals of the generator to the
frame, conductive metal parts, etc.
6.2 Before operating the generator, the user
should attach a protective gear for grounding
interference to detect possible interference
of the grounding system, and to troubleshoot
the interference in due time before it occurs
again.
Do not charge any batteries whose capacity is
higher than 50Ah!
Do not operate a consumer load at the 230V
outlet at the same time
5.3 Switch on fuel cock.(B7)
5.4 Set the choke lever to OFF.(B8)
Do not use the choke, when the engine is
warm.
5.5 Switch on switch.(B9)
5.6 Lightly pull the start-up handle until you
feel resistance, then pull forcefully. (B10)
4.3.4 Reinsert the lter element, attach the air
lter cover and tighten it. (B5)
5. STARTING THE GENERATOR
5.1 Remove all loads from AC outlet.
5.2.1 Set the AC breaker to "ON".
5.2.2 Electrical direct current connector (DC)
This function is provided to charge 12V batteries
(external).
Charge batteries only when they are taken out.
- Check, if the 12V overload protection is pressed
  (DC Reset)
- Make sure the generator is not in operation,
  and connect the battery.

- Pay attention to the polarity of the cable (RED=
+(plus), BLACK = -(minus)), and the polarity of
  the battery.
 - Make sure to read the notes on charging of the
   battery manufacturer!
After the generator is connected (connection
of battery and insertion of charging plug into
12V outlet of generator), it can be started and
the battery can be charged. When the charging
process is completed, rst switch o the
generator, and then disconnect the battery.
Pay attention to sucient ventilation, because
ammable gasses are generated while charging
the battery, and keep away from ignition sources
(smoking, re, open light,...). Wear acid-proof
gloves and safety goggles to protect yourself
against accumulator acid which might leak out.
Charging times for each capacity (Ah) of lead
storage batteries are:
30Ah – 6 hours
35Ah -7 hours
47Ah -9 hours
Charging times specied apply to batteries in
perfect condition.
WARNING:
Lightly pull back the start cable
after start-up, and do not let it
rapidly bounce back to avoid
possible damages of the machine
and injuries of persons.
