4.3 Brush cutter-Grass trimmer-Pruner-Hedge trimmer-Combination Device: Brush cutter

CAUTION: Always wear protective gloves when working on and around cutting tools.
– Risk of blowback! There is always a risk of blowback, if the blade tip touches branches
or other objects. The brush cutters will be uncontrollable and can be pushed with
great force in the direction of the operator.
Assembly 3 Assembly
To use the device as a brush cutter,
the protective cover for the cutting
edges and the thicket knife must
be mounted.
Do not remove the protective cover
for the cutting edges (15) when
you replace the thread spool (14) or
blade (16).
- Fix the protective cover for the
cutting edges (15) with the 4 screws
on the holding device on the shaft
(if not already mounted). - Mount
knife (16) as shown in gures 1-6.
- Lock the shaft of the brush cutter
at the intended place with a
screwdriver or with the provided
Allen key (21).
- Turn the spools of thread (14)
clockwise o the shaft (if already
mounted).
- Leave the support ange (17) on
the shaft.
- Place the thicket knife (16) on
the supporting ange (inscription
facing the user).
- Place the clamping ange (18) and
the retaining plate (19) (observe
alignment) on the thicket blade
(16).
