User Connectivity Features
Note: The Base version of the consoles include only some of the features listed. See the table below for
features available on the Base console.
Bluetooth device connection
Multiple different types of devices can communicate with the console for different purposes.
Cell phones or other devices can connect to the console to play music through the console
earphone port and allow the console to control the media playback.
Bluetooth earphones can play audio from streaming videos, TV Audio, and console apps
wirelessly.
Some heart rate monitors connect via Bluetooth.
There are 3 separate Bluetooth radios within the console, one for each type of device. If a user is
experiencing issues with Bluetooth devices, refer to troubleshooting for Bluetooth Issues or Heart Rate
Issues.
To connect a Bluetooth device to the console:
Touch the Gear icon that appears at the top right corner of the screen during a workout.
Select the Category of device to connect, and the console will scan and display all available devices.
Once a device is chosen, the “connecting” icon appears.
Once connected, the Bluetooth icon is displayed.
