Troubleshooting Guide
The values for incline top and incline bottom can be changed manually; currently not clear what manual
adjustment may be used for.
Climbmill Calibration
When the brake or LCB parts are replaced, the speed control braking force must be calibrated. Also,
calibration can be completed any time the actual and commanded step speed appear to differ.
To automatically calibrate the Climbmill brake:
1. Access the Product Dashboard by touching and holding on the Matrix logo, top center of display.
2. Press the “Machine Settings” button.
3. Type “3 0 0 1 enter” on the keypad that appears to access Machine Settings menu.
4. Touch on the “Calibrate” tab.
5. Enter technician weight. Other parameters can be left as default. Calibration Factor will be
updated on calibration completion. Defaults and descriptions are:
Weight: 150lbs. Enter technician weight.
Time (Seconds): 50. Duration of Calibration session; range is 40-60, longer may be more
accurate.
SPM: 52. Step speed of calibration session; range is 50-54.
Calibration Factor: 1000. This setting is changed automatically by completing
calibration.
6. Touch on “Calibrate; the steps will begin moving. Climb until calibration completes.
Do NOT grab the handrails during calibration.
Internet Setup
Touch & TouchXL consoles can be used without being connected to the internet, but to get the best use
of the included features and receive important software updates, consoles should always remain
connected to the internet.
Internet connections are typically established during initial console setup, but if the network changes or
the console becomes disconnected, it can be reconnected to the internet.
Available download speed can be checked by Connection Speed (Bandwidth) Test.
The console defaults to use DHCP to configure connection settings. Static IP, proxy server, and other
internet connection settings can be accessed by touching “Advanced Wifi Setings” or “Advanced
Ethernet Settings from the “Network Setup” menu. Coordinate with the facility network administrator
for further internet setup detail.
Wi-Fi Setup
Wi-Fi capability is standard on Touch & TouchXL consoles.
