5. If there is no check mark in the box next to “Automatic Update”, touch it to enable.
6. The Time field displays when the console will check for updates, in the local time.
• If a facility has more than 10 consoles online, recommended to stagger this time so
they’re not all trying to download updates at the same time.
Consoles configured this way will automatically check daily for updates and install them when available.
To manually check for updates:
1. Access the Product Dashboard by touching and holding on the Matrix logo, top center of display.
2. Touch on the “Machine Settings” button.
3. Type “3 0 0 1 enter” on the keypad that appears to access Machine Settings menu.
4. Touch on the “Update” tab.
5. Click the Check for Updates button.
6. A list of the software update packages will appear if available.
7. Click on Install – and the software update will begin.
USB Update
Software updates via USB drive are available when the console is not connected to the internet, the
internet connection speed is very slow, or a software version different than the current version is
needed.
At this time, there is no way to update console software to an older (numerically lower) version.
To update console software via USB:
1. Download the software package onto a personal computer.
