Check periodically to make sure your
child has not moved out of position and
loosened the shoulder belt.

Undo Seat Pad Tabs
On the sides of the car seat
above the Rear-Facing Belt
Path, there are tabs that
keep the seat pad in place.
Place your thumb over
the tab and pull it down to
release it from the keyhole in
the car seat.
Repeat for other side.
Undo Pad Fasteners
That Connect Headrest
Pad and Seat Pad

Pull Seat Pad Off the
Front of the Car Seat
and Remove it from
the Shell
It may be easier to lift up
the pad if you remove the
cupholders. See page 4.

Buckle Vehicle Belt
Pull up on lap belt to tighten.

Position Shoulder Belt
on Child
Pull up on shoulder belt to
tighten.
The shoulder belt should lay
snugly across the center of the
child’s shoulder and across the
chest and not on their face
or neck.
Only use the shoulder belt-
positioning guide in the
headrest if necessary to help
position the shoulder belt
correctly on the child.

Position Lap Belt on Child
Route the lap belt portion of the
vehicle belt through the booster
belt path as shown.
The lap belt should lay snugly
across the child’s hips and not on
their stomach.
