Empty pockets and use garment bags for small items to prevent this. Using a cycle with a low spin speed can also leave clothes wetter. To remove extra water, select the Drain/Spin cycle, and rearrange the load evenly in the basket. Tightly packed or unbalanced loads can also prevent proper spinning; evenly arrange the wet load for balanced spinning.

Also, check your household plumbing for leaks or clogs in the sink or drain, as water can back up. Finally, ensure the washer is loaded as recommended; unbalanced loading can cause the basket to misalign and splash water.

To optimize water level and wash performance due to soil buildup, run the Clean Washer with affresh[®] cycle.
