  There are several reasons why your McCulloch Trimmer engine might not start: * The ON/STOP switch may be in the STOP position. If so, move it to the ON position. * The engine may be flooded. Consult the “Starting a Flooded Engine” section. * The fuel tank may be empty. If this is the case, fill the tank with the correct fuel mixture. * The spark plug may not be firing. Try installing a new spark plug. * Fuel may not be reaching the carburetor. Check for a dirty fuel filter and replace it if necessary. Also, check for kinked or split fuel lines; repair or replace them as needed. * The carburetor may require adjustment. If so, contact an authorized service dealer.
