ASSEMBLY
Dismantling:
S Loosen the coupling by turning the knob.
S Press and hold the locking/release button
(A).
S While securely holding the engine and
upper shaft, pull the attachment straight
out of the coupling.
NOTE: Make sure unit is assembled
correctly as shown in this manual.
Fitting the loop handle
S Position the handle on the shaft. Note that
the handle must be mounted between the
two arrows on the shaft.
S Fit the screw, securing plate and wing nut
as shown in the diagram.
S Make a final adjustment of the J--handle
to a comfortable working position.
Tighten the wing nut.
W ARNING: To avoid serious
injury, only use grass blades/grass
cutters or trimmer heads with plastic
blades when the J-handle is fitted.
Never use saw blades!

Assembly:
S Loosen the coupling by turning the knob.
S Position locking/release button (A) of
attachment into guide recess (B) of
coupling.

S Push the attachment into the coupling
until the locking/release button snaps
into the primary hole (C).
S Before using the unit, tighten the knob
securely.

manual . Using the wrong hole could
lead to serious injury or dama ge to
the unit.
