INTRODUCTION
The McLELLAND Mix-Lite USB audio interface is designed as an audio interface between analog
and digital audio sources, recorders and a computer with USB 1.1 or 2.0 connection. It is suitable
for use on stage and in the sound recording studio as well as for home recording and multi-media
applications. Microphone signals, high-impedance instrument signals, analog line signals and
digital signals can be transmitted with superior sound quality to a computer where they can be
edited, mixed and published with corresponding production software. The audio interface is
compatible to PC and Mac and requires no setup thanks to its plug & play functionality.
The interface features two combo inputs for microphones and high-impedance music
instruments, an input for units with line level(e.g. CD players) as well as an input for digital audio
signals. For the analog inputs the amplification can be adjusted and for phantom-powered
microphones +48V phantom power can be switched on.
The audio signals coming from the computer and the preamplified analog input signals are
available at two 6.3mm jacks as well as at an adjustable 3.5mm headphones output. Additionally,
there is a digital output for the audio signals coming from the computer. The power supply for the
unit is made via the USB interface. Alternatively the supplied power unit or the 9V battery may be
used for an operation independent of the computer.
This product is allowed to be operated with 9V AC/DC, 150 mA and was designed for indoor use
only.
