Securing Your Camper
When parked and unhitched you should always use suitable wheel chocks to ensure the trailer can’t move in the event of
a handbrake failure. For security a wheel clamp or and hitch lock are highly recommended.
Maintenance
Maintenance is essential to keep your camper in a safe and usable condition. Campers are no different to any other
motor vehicle and require servicing at regular intervals which may vary according to use and the environment in which
it is used. The service schedule outlines the service intervals for safe travelling and your owner obligations under our
warranty policy. Servicing should always be carried out by a competent person with relevant experience.
WARNING:
• Never work beneath the camper while suspended on a jack. Always use “Jack Stands” with an adequate SWL.
• Always use dedicated jacking points
• 240volt appliances and wiring must only be serviced and repaired by a qualied tradesperson.
• Gas plumbing must only be serviced and repaired by a qualied gas tter
Camper Body Maintenance
Locks and Latches
Locks need regular maintenance to ensure they operate correctly and stay free from corrosion. Diligent use of WD40
or Inox will help in this regard. Both locks and latches need to be checked for adjustment to ensure correct seal
compression.
Rubber Seals
Rubber seals are critical in reducing or eliminating dust and water ingress. Damaged or worn seals should be replaced
immediately. Seals that are overly compressed will stay attened and be less effective. (See maintenance schedule)
Sealants
Regular checking of sealants will help avoid any likelihood of water ingress on your camper. Off road use can cause
mechanical damage to seals from vegetation and stones striking the camper body. 6 monthly inspections should be
undertaken, and any necessary repairs made.
