• Fuel is highly ammable and can be
explosive in certain circumstances.
• Turn o the engine and allow it to cool
before relling with fuel.
• Follow all the safety instructions for
handling the fuel.
• Always refuel before use.
NOTE:
• The recommended mixing ration is 40:1
– 40 parts fuel to 1 part oil.
• Mix the fuel with good quality 2-stroke
oil, intended for air-cooled 2-stroke
engines.
Filling
1. Shake the container with the fuel mixture.
2. Place the clearing saw on a level, stable
surface with the fuel cap facing upwards.
3. Clean the ller cap and the area around the

7. Wipe o spilled fuel and allow any fuel
residue to evaporate before starting the
engine.
NOTE:
• Never use oil intended for 4-stroke
engines or water-cooled 2-stroke engines.
This type of oil can contaminate the spark
plug and exhaust port or cause the engine
to seize.
• Oil mixed fuel that has stood for more
than one month can contaminate the
carburettor resulting in the engine not
running correctly. Store leftover fuel dark
and cool in an air-tight container.
• Switch o the engine before lling up
with fuel. Never ll up with fuel when the
engine is running or hot. Fire hazard!
