5. Secure the handle bracket on the shaft with
the screw (5).

Protective guard
Fit the guard (1) on the gear housing (2) with the
2 screws (3) through the xed ange (4) and the
underside of the guard (5).

Trimmer spool
1. First undo the nut holding the guard.
2. Align the two holes in the ange and the
guard with each other.
3. Lock the ange using an hex key and loosen
the nut clockwise using a socket spanner.

4. Remove the guard.
5. Keep the ange locked, place the trimmer
spool on the axle and turn anti-clockwise to
lock into place.

6. To dismantle the trimmer spool, lock the
ange with a hex key and then turn the
trimmer head clockwise.
WARNING!
Check before use that the trimmer spool is tted
correctly.
Clearing blade
1. Undo the nut and remove the outer ange.
2. Fit the blade, the outer ange, guard and
nut in the order shown in the gure. Exercise
care to t the blade in the right direction of
rotation, which is stated on the blade and
machine.
3. Lock the ange using an hex key and
tighten the nut rmly anti-clockwise.

4. To dismantle the clearing blade, lock with
a hex key and then loosen the nut with a
socket spanner and remove the blade.
WARNING!
Check before use that the cleaning blade is
tted correctly.
Saw blade
NOTE:
The saw blade may only be used with the
blade guard tted.
Fitting the blade guard
1. Guide the pin on the blade guard’s bracket
into the hole on the gear housing.
2. Secure the blade guard in the bracket using
4 screws.

Assembling the saw blade
1. Undo the nut and remove the outer ange.
2. Fit the blade, the outer ange, guard and
nut as shown in the gure.
3. Lock the ange using a screwdriver and
tighten the nut rmly anti-clockwise.

4. To dismantle the saw blade, rst lock the
ange with a hex key. Now loosen the nut
with a socket spanner and remove the
blade.

Check before use that the saw blade is tted
correctly.
