• Ret the spark plug and tighten with the
supplied spanner.
• Replace the spark plug with a new one of
the same type if the electrodes are burnt
and at intervals of 100 operating hours.
Air lter
1. Unscrew the screw holding the lter cover.
2. Lift o the lter cover and remove the
air lter.
3. Replace the lter cover to prevent any
objects getting into the air intake.
4. Blow clean the lter with compressed air.
If the air lter is too dirty to be cleaned,
replace it with a new one
5. Loosen the lter cover.
6. Replace the air lter and lter cover.
7. Secure the lter cover with the screw.

LUBRICATING THE GEAR HOUSING
1. Loosen the screw (1).
2. Apply lithium based grease and turn the
axle by hand until the grease emerges.
3. Tighten the screw.

SHARPENING THE LINE CUTTER
1. Remove the line cutter (A) from the guard
(B) by loosening the screws (C).

2. Put the line cutter in a vice and sharpen
with a at le. Make sure you maintain the
original angle of the edge.
3. Fit the line cutter on the guard.
