TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem Possible cause Action
The machine will not start. The machine has tried to be
started in the wrong way.
Follow the starting instructions.
Carbon deposits or wetness on
spark plug.
Clean the spark plug, or replace
with a new one.
The fuel tank is empty. Fill with new fuel.
The engine starts, but does not
produce full power.
The choke is incorrectly set.
Set the choke lever in position

The air lter is dirty. Clean the air lter.
The engine runs unevenly. Incorrect electrode gap on spark
plug.
Clean the spark plug and adjust
the electrode gap, or insert a new
spark plug.
The engine emits an abnormal
amount of smoke.
Incorrect fuel mixture ratio Drain the incorrect fuel from the
tank and replace with new.
The engine overheats. Too long sessions. Take regular pauses to allow the
machine to cool.
Contact the dealer if the problem can not be rectied with the help of the troubleshooting chart.
