STARTING
/
STOPPING
1. Plug the bandsaw plug into an earthed
power point.
2. Start the product with the power switch
(6).
3. Adjust the speed with the speed control
(5). Select a suitable speed for the
material to be sawn.
4. Switch o the product with the power
switch (6).
5. Unplug the plug from the power point
after use.
SAWING
1. Check that the power switch is switched
o and plug in the plug.
2. Secure the workpiece on a workbench or
other rm surface.
3. Keep the power cord away from the work
area.
4. Place the guide against the workpiece
with the blade at an angle of 90° to the
workpiece.
5. Start the product and wait until the blade
reaches maximum speed before applying
it to the workpiece.
6. Set the required speed with the speed
control (5).
7. Tilt the product so that the saw blade is
vertical.
8. Start with an incision and then move the
rest of the blade in the workpiece.
IMPORTANT:
Do not press too hard. The weight of the
product is enough to achieve a clean cut.
Too much pressure can twist the blade or
brake it, which can result in personal
injury and/or material damage.
At the edge of the workpiece, nish the
cut by slowly raising the product a little
so that the blade lifts.
USING OUTDOORS
When used outdoors the product must be
connected to the mains supply via a residual
current device with a tripping current of ≤ 30
mA.
AFTER USE
Allow moving parts to stop by themselves
when the product is switched o.
Never brake the accessory by pressing it
against a workpiece or anything else.
MAINTENANCE
WARNING!
Switch o the product and pull out the plug
before cleaning.
Never poke any objects into the openings
in the product – risk of re and/or electric
shock.
Do not subject the product to knocks and
blows.
Protect the product from grease.
Clean the product and the power cord at
regular intervals. Keep the ventilation
openings on the product clean.
REPLACING SAW BLADES
1. Turn the tensioning arm (1) to release the
saw blade.
2. Centre the saw blade in the two head
bearings (9).
3. Hold the blade on the head bearings and
press in. Check that the saw blade runs
smoothly round the wheels.
4. Turn the tensioning arm (1) to it is applied
and tensions the saw blade.
5. Plug in the plug.
6. Start the product. Check that the saw
blade runs smoothly and rmly round the
wheels and that the teeth point in the
