3. Remove the blade screw, any washers and blade ange.
4. Loosen the lower guard lock lever, move the bottom cover to one side.
5. Change to an appropriate blade. Fit the blade with the direction marking on the blade in the
same direction as the direction indicator.
6. Ret the blade ange, any washers and the blade screw.
7. Press in the spindle lock and tighten the blade screw with the spanner.
Adjusting the bevel angle
1. Loosen the bevel angle lock knob.
2. Adjust the bottom plate to the angle required (0° to 45°) according to the bevel angle scale
and tighten the lock knob.
3. Measure the angle between the blade and the bottom plate.
