Setting the cutting depth
Adjust the cutting depth to the thickness of the workpiece. At the correct setting, the blade’s teeth
should extend approximately 3 mm below the underside of the workpiece.
1. Loosen the depth adjustment lock knob.
2. Adjust the bottom plate to the required depth according to the depth scale, or measure with
a ruler, and tighten the lock knob.
SAWING
NOTE:
• Always use both hands to grip the handles when using the circular saw.
• Secure the workpiece with a clamp, clips or vice.
• Practise on some waste material to get a feel of the circular saw before processing the
actual workpiece.
