Option 2: Create a recessed cavity
Frame a recessed cavity above this fireplace. The cavity shall be 6” taller and 6” wider than the TV being installed and the
cavity’s bottom surface must be a minimum of 24” above the top edge of the top air gap of this Fireplace.
Option 3: Install a Cool Wall Kit
Note: Cool Wall System is not available on M27 model fireplaces.
Install an optional Cool Wall Kit on the Fireplace.
The Cool Wall System reduces the temperatures on the wall above the fireplace significantly.
This allows a Flat Panel TV to be mounted above this fireplace without a recessed cavity or a
mantel. However, the installed TV’s bottom edge must be 24” (minimum) above the top edge
of the top air gap of this fireplace.
Three Cool Wall Kit options are available. Depending on the room ceiling height and TV size,
select a suitable Cool Wall Kit.
