2. Proper and intended use
The MENZER random orbital sander ETS 150
is intended to be used for polishing and dry
sanding of wood, plastics, composites, paints
andvarnishes,llers(e.g.primeddrywalling)and
similar materials. Special safety instructions
apply for mixed dusts with metal content (e.g.
lacquerprocessingintheautomotivesector).The
power tool is not suitable for direct metal sanding.
The sanding of hazardous materials (e.g. paints
with lead content and asbestos or materials with
asbestos content) is extremely health-hazardous
and not permitted with this sander.
The use of abrasives for this machine is restricted
to MENZER abrasives suitable for operation at
10,000rpm.Theuseofcuttingorgrindingdiscs,as
wellasabrasiveapwheels,wirebrushesorsaw
blades is prohibited. Never mount the driving disc
without the appropriate distance ring.
We recommend using our MENZER dust extraction
units VC 760 and VC 790 PRO for dust removal.
Caution! The owner/operator is liable for
any improper use!

tions set out in EN62841 with new, unused electri-
cal power tool. Values will change with regular use,
signsofwearanddieringsubstrates,abrasives,
environmentalconditionsandinsucientmain-
tenance.
The stated values were determined under labora-
toryconditionsandareinsucientforarisk
assessment.
The actual, applicable values at the relevant work
site and under relevant work conditions depend
on environmental conditions, work practices,
duration of continuous operation and the materi-
als used.
MENZER GmbH cannot be held responsible for
the use of these stated values instead of actual
emissionvaluesinanyindividuallyrequiredrisk
assessment.
