Makesureelectricityisturnedoffatthemainpowerboxbeforecommencingwork.Turnoff
thepowerbyremovingfuseorturningoffcircuitbreakerbeforeinstallingremotecontroller.
READBEFOREINSTALLATION
1. Powersupplytoinputwiresofremotecontrollerreceivermustbeconnectedthroughan
isolationswitch(e.g.wallswitch).
2. Installremotecontrollerreceiverinsideceilingfancanopytoensureproperprotection.
3. Setceilingfanspeedcontrolrotaryswitch(ifany)toHIGHsettingandcontrolswitchforlight
kit(ifany)toONpositionbeforeoperatingremotecontrolfunctions.
4. Forceilingfanwithpullchainswitches,setpullchainswitchesaccordinglysothatceilingfan
speedsettingisatHIGHandfanlightsetting(ifany)isatONpositionbeforeoperatingremote
controlfunctions.
5. Batterywillweakenovertimeandshouldbereplacedbeforeleakingtakesplaceasthiswill
damagethetransmitter.Disposeofusedbatteryproperly.
6. Ifremotecontrolleristobeusedforcontrollingaceilingfan(i)ofotherbrands,(ii)with
alowprofile(hugger)design,or(iii)thathasasmallerhangingbracket,thenyoushould

beforeinstallation.
b. Make sure the hanging bracket will fit remote controller receiver. Otherwise, if the
receivercannotbeinsertedintothehangingbracketduetodimension limitations or
because there is no hanging bracket as may be in the case of a low profile (hugger
design) ceiling fan, then the receiver can be enclosed in an Electrical Insulation Box
(installation must comply to Australian wiring regulations) andplacedintheceiling.
ElectricalInsulationBoxisnotsupplied.Inthiscase,remembertodrawtheantenna/
aerialwireawayfromtheinsulationboxthroughasmallhole.
