Turbocharger
The shaft of the turbocharger with the turbine wheel
and compressor impeller is supplied with oil via the
engine's oil circuit. The oil flows in the opposite
direction to the coolant.
The lubricating oil is taken from the main oil duct of
the cylinder crankcase, flows through the bearing
housing and is extracted individually
for each turbo-
charger from the engine oil pump.
