5. Remove the drain plug from the lower part of the intercooler.

6. Remove the drain plug, or the propeller shaft log seal (stuffing box) cooling hose if
equipped, from the transmission fluid cooler.

7. Repeatedly clean out drain holes using a stiff piece of wire. Do this until the entire
seawater system is drained.
8. After seawater section of cooling system has been drained completely, coat threads of
drain plugs with sealant and reinstall. Tighten securely.
