3. Lift the neutral interlock cable up and remove the neutral interlock cable
tension spring from the recoil housing.

b - Neutral interlock cable
4. Remove one long and one medium length screw and washers securing
the air box to the engine.
a - Long screw
b - Medium screw
c - Neutral interlock cable
5. Rotate the air box slightly to allow the recoil to be removed.
