1. Position the engine for a full starboard turn.
NOTE: For models with kicker straps, temporarily disconnect one end of the
port kicker strap. This will allow the engine to be rotated when the engine is in
the full tilt position.
2. Remove the top cowl and remove the oil filter drain hose from it's storage
location on the front of the engine.

3. Tilt the engine up and lock the outboard in the full tilt position. Allow a few
minutes for the oil in the filter to drain into the engine.
