1. Tilt the outboard to the full up position and engage the tilt support lever.

2. Remove the fill cap and check the fluid level, which should be even
with the bottom of the fill hole. If necessary, add Power Trim & Steering
Fluid. If this is not available, use automotive transmission fluid (ATF).

3. Re‑install the fill cap.
4. Trim the outboard through the entire trim and tilt range several times
to remove any air from the system.
