Configure the scale's serial protocol setting via the menu.
Modify the scale's IP address and subnet mask in the COMM menu.
Manually enter a static IP address for the scale's network connection.
Confirm and save the new IP address settings on the scale.
Access the Windows Control Panel to manage network settings.
Navigate to the Network and Sharing Center for connection management.
Select and open properties for the relevant Local Area Connection.
Enter the scale's IP, Subnet Mask, and Gateway in TCP/IPv4 settings.
Close the connection status and properties windows after configuration.
Use Command Prompt to ping the scale's IP address to verify network reachability.
Open a serial terminal, configure it for TCP/IP, and send commands.
Set the scale's serial protocol and COMM selection to ETH.
Set the serial tool's Port Type, IP address, and Port to match the scale.
