Fuel for this machine is highly ammable and explosive. Do not overll the fuel
tank. Allow room for expansion of the fuel. Fill the tank away from the engine and
avoid spills. The fuel tank must be in contact with the ground before and during lling. Do not let the
fuel line come in contact with the exhaust system. Failure to follow these precauons could lead to a
re and serious injury or death. The Vantage-Vac engine has an aached fuel tank, allow the engine to
cool before relling.
Engine exhaust contains carbon monoxide, a poisonous gas that could kill you in
minutes. You CANNOT see it, smell it, or taste it. Even if you do not smell exhaust
fumes, you could sll be exposed to carbon monoxide gas. If you start to feel sick, dizzy, or weak while
using this product, shut it o and get to fresh air immediately. Seek medical aenon immediately.
You may have carbon monoxide poisoning.
The surfaces of the engine and exhaust can be extremely hot. Do not touch, allow
to cool before servicing.
Rotang fan blades inside can crush or cut. The vacuum has a strong sucon at the
inlet. At all mes keep hands, clothing, etc., away from the inlet of your vacuum.
Pressurized air and material leaving the discharge can cause serious injury or death
if personnel are struck. Stay clear of outlet and surrounding area while operang.
Never operate without collecon device securely connected to the discharge.
1. Place your equipment on a level surface. Posion it so the collecon bag will not be blown by the
wind and come in contact with the engine exhaust system. Prevent the vacuum from moving. If
your model is equipped with a wheel locking device, engage it.
NOTE: The Vantage-Vac and the Versa-Vac require that either a hose or the debris guard is aached
to the discharge (refer to gure A). The vacuum will not start or connue to run without a hose or the
debris guard aached. The Veloci-Vac has a discharge “Y” (refer to gure B) that must be mounted
before any other aachment. The “Y” locks into place with a clockwise twist.
