OPERATION
Lifting the vehicle
1. Park the vehicle and apply the handbrake. Carefully wedge the vehicles wheels to avoid any
unexpected movement.
2. Locate the vehicles jacking point. Refer to the vehicles manual if required.
3. Extend the jack’s handle. Put the jack on the ground and position it under the jacking point (it
must be perpendicular to the vehicle, with the handle on your side).
4. Turn the handle clockwise to bring the jacks saddle up to the jacking point.
5. When the saddle touches the vehicle, check the jack is straight with no lean. Check the jack is
correctly positioned under the jacking point. If not, reposition it correctly before lifting the load.
LIFTING CAPACITY
The jack’s lifting capacity depends on the height to which it is extended. The graph below shows
the jack’s maximum capacity across its entire lifting extension.
