Why do air bubbles appear in my MICROLIT Dispenser?
- AAmanda IbarraJul 28, 2025
If air bubbles appear in your MICROLIT Dispenser, it could be due to several reasons. One reason is that the reagent with high vapor pressure has been drawn in too quickly, so you should draw the reagent slowly. Other reasons include: the instrument has not been primed (prime the instrument), the filling tube is loose or damaged (push the filling tube on firmly, and if necessary, cut off approx. 1 cm of the tube at the upper end and then re-connect it or replace it), the liquid reservoir is empty (refill reservoir and prime the unit), the filling action is too fast (fill and dispense slowly), the piston is leaking (clean the piston, and if the problem persists, replace it), or the discharge valve is leaking (clean by flushing thoroughly with distilled water).
