Why do air bubbles appear in my MICROLIT Dispenser?
    • A
      Amanda IbarraJul 28, 2025
If air bubbles appear in your MICROLIT Dispenser, it could be due to several reasons. One reason is that the reagent with high vapor pressure has been drawn in too quickly, so you should draw the reagent slowly. Other reasons include: the instrument has not been primed (prime the instrument), the filling tube is loose or damaged (push the filling tube on firmly, and if necessary, cut off approx. 1 cm of the tube at the upper end and then re-connect it or replace it), the liquid reservoir is empty (refill reservoir and prime the unit), the filling action is too fast (fill and dispense slowly), the piston is leaking (clean the piston, and if the problem persists, replace it), or the discharge valve is leaking (clean by flushing thoroughly with distilled water).

What to do if dispensing is not possible with my MICROLIT Dispenser?
    • C
      Courtney FreemanAug 3, 2025
If dispensing is not possible with your MICROLIT Dispenser, the dispensing nozzle might be blocked. To resolve this, disassemble the dispensing nozzle and flush thoroughly with distilled water. Another cause could be that the discharge valve is stuck, in which case you should clean the unit by immersing the valve assembly in distilled water.

      Edwin MaysAug 8, 2025
If the barrel of your MICROLIT Dispenser does not fill with liquid, it might be because the inlet tube is not fitted firmly. Make sure to connect the inlet tube correctly.

What to do if the piston is difficult to move in my MICROLIT Dispenser?
    • L
      Lisa NelsonAug 21, 2025
If the piston in your MICROLIT Dispenser is difficult to move, it could be due to the formation of crystals or deposition of dirt. Stop dispensing immediately. Loosen the piston in a circular motion, but do not disassemble it, and follow the cleaning instructions.
