• Ready. PC on (ACPI S0 state), monitor on at full image brightness.
• S0 sleep: PC in standby (Windows Modern Standby), monitor off (VESA DPM off – 5W).
• S5. PC in system shutdown state, lowest power state, monitor off (0.3W).
Is Hub 2S Energy Star certified?
Pending certification.
Can connecting a USB-A or USB-C hub impact power delivery to the peripheral?
Yes, power output from ports is fixed.
How does Surface Hub 2S comply with power efficiency standards?

Sensors
What motion detector capabilities are included?
Surface Hub 2S ships with occupancy sensor via a custom Doppler radio running at 9.45 GHz, 10.525 GHz,
or 10.585 GHz (variable depending on region). It’s primarily designed to wake up the system when
entering a conference room.
