AC-INVERTER IN CARRIAGE UNIT OF SM 3880 : ( P/N : 545-00-520005 )
CCD TYPE : Toshiba CCD ( TCD-2905 ) is a stack CCD with 6 rows of line sensors
( R1,R2, B1,B2, and G1, G2 ), each of line sensor has 5,400 pixels totally, but
the effective pixels of each CCD line sensor for SM 3880 is 5,100 pixels only.
Hence, R1 + R2 = 10,200 pixels. The scan area of SM 3880 is
8.5” ( W ) * 11.7”
( L ). This reason can make scanner resolution was enhanced from 600dpi
( 600dpi * 8.5” ( W ) = 5100 effective pixels ) to 1200dpi ( R1 + R2 = 10200
effective pixels = 1200dpi * 8.5” ( W ) ).
OPTICAL DRAWING : REFLECTIVE MODE FOR ScanMaker 3880
